Greek Theatre Masks

This past Saturday we jump started this semester's YAW class by doing Greek Theatre masks with our older students. For some of our kids it's hard to get them to talk about feelings and the facial expressions connected to those feelings. We used a variety of prompts to get them motivated, including mirrors to practice large facial movements, a check list of ideas the kids could pull from and a large variety of materials to get them excited about the project.
