After looking at slides of work comparing Klimt's "Tree of Life" to other artists like Georgia O’Keefe, Chagall, Van Gogh, and Romare Bearden, Ellissa asked our older students to create their own landscapes from their imaginations using shapes and patterns like Klimt.
Ellissa showed her students a variety of decorative papers that she had collected including gold, silver and patterned sheets, along with silver and gold markers to add accents.
These came out great!
